Mangledmeddlingmetal

Another large rock fell from the sky, crushing the wolf of death, and re-uniting him with his element.
The beast from the storage room took another step towards Mira. Two of it's heads moved so the they consumed nearly her entire field of view. The third reared back, seaming to be ready to strike. Mira's ring heated up even more, to the point that it burned.

ZeroByNothing

Ryan had back up and he looked shocked. "L-L-Lance!"
He knew he couldn't do anything about it.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Yet again, Sub is in another dream, it's been a year since he met the man, the man's name is Benjamin Steelingston.
Right now, they're sightseeing.

Donotdiddlekids

Max changed into a blue hoodie, with a green shirt underneath, but he still has the same pants and shoes on.

TheOneTrueCardinal

They're looking at a waterfall.
Benjamin: Ahhh, wouldn't you love the nice sound of the waterfall??
Sub: IT'S REALLY LOUD.
Benjamin: Don't worry, Sylvan, you'll get used to it.
Present Sub remembered every detailed of this.
Past Sub saw some kind of wolf statue with glowing eyes, it seemed like it's alive.
What present Sub didn't remember is the statue with the glowing eyes, it's obvious that no one could forget a statue with glowing eyes.
Past Sub started walking towards the statue.
The statue has glowing white eyes, but they're not really bright.
"The heir needs power" it said in a deep voice that doesn't sound normal at all.
"What?? The air needs power, is he talking about Rezel??" Present Sub thought.
"The heir needs power" the statue said again.
"Why does he keep repeating that?? Oh wait, he said heir not air." Present Sub thought.

Richard2005

Look around in the house.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Suddenly chains came out of nowhere and chained past Sub, he seems to be struggling.
The statue walked closer, it continued repeating the same words.
"What does he want from me??" Present Sub thought.

Paradox.XXIV

Hugh had literally no choice there, his ring getting so hot it started burning his finger. Closing his eyes, he took the ring off and immediately on, with a rapid move. The light tried to shine all over the old bookstore, but it quickly got darker again, Hugh not even being able to tell if Mira had reappeared next to him. He called silently, whispering : "M... Mira...?"

Mangledmeddlingmetal

"H-Hugh?" Mira asked back in the darkness, after having been teleported. Her voice was breathy, and still laced with fear. The ring cooled, but war still warm to the touch.

Paradox.XXIV

Hugh tried to first reach Mira's hands. She was oddly shivering, and breathing as heavily as himself. He took them, and felt the warm ring. "Don't. Talk. Magic. Door's blocked." Hugh articulated with nearly no sound. The curtains were closed, the door blocked, and the books' odor was horrible. Thankfully Hugh was a bit used to it, and he stepped a bit further, and reached a bookshelf.
He snickered a bit, the smell getting stronger.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

Mira pulled her hands back from Hugh's almost immediately after he grabbed them. After carefully deciphering what Hugh said, she nodded in understanding, then stood up. Her face curled into one of disgust as the odor settled in her nose. She made a point of covering her hand with the sleeve of her jacket, and pressing it to her face in a makeshift-mask.

Paradox.XXIV

Hugh suddenly stopped walking, and stood straight to listen around. He wasn't paying attention to Mira following him, his long ears pointing up to have a better listening of the place.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

Mira's eyes adjusted to the lack of light, and she peered around at the room, intently scanning for something. She wasn't quite sure what she was looking for. But she knew it would help. Something told her to walk forwards, so she did. She came right up to a wall before she stopped, and started closely examining the cracks in the brickwork.

Paradox.XXIV

Hugh took a random book, only hearing Mira's footsteps. "The place is... safe?" he asked, opening the old book. Hugh nearly fainted at the smell of it, and closed it, although he kept it. He reached Mira's back. "What happened to you?" he asked softly.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

Mira jumped at the question. "I... Encountered some beastly... Thing," she said, not breaking her gaze at the wall. She raised her free hand and traced the lines of cracked grout with her finger. Her face twisted from disgust into puzzlement. "Why is it..." she trailed off.

Paradox.XXIV

Hugh stepped right next to her, gazing alternatively at her and the wall. He looked kind of naive when he only said : "Huh?"

Mangledmeddlingmetal

"The grout is smooth. It should be rough," Mira explained, "and you can't feel the cracks. It's like they're just painted on or something."

Paradox.XXIV

"Is it... like a fake wall then?" Hugh asked, smelling something further. It was stronger than any book, and he stepped towards what seemed to be a desk for the person who was managing the books.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

"Or something. It may have a secret passage in it," Mira thought aloud. "Let's look around for a switch, or lever, or something."

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye continued searching for the others.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

A relatively tall, brown anthro bat looked watched One-eye from an alleyway. "Hey Masky!"

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye turned and looked at the one who had catcalled him, noting the fact that he was a bat. "What do you want?" he said in his emotionless voice.

Donotdiddlekids

Max went down to the bar again, waiting for a fight to happen. This place attracted lots of attention. At least there was a diverse crowd this time. Lots of people, visions ranging from "I can drive" to "Get this guy to the hospital". Max liked it like this way. More people to pity, or more people pitying him. Depends on the day.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

The bat strode out to One-eye in three long, graceful strides. One couldn't quite tell if the bat was a man or a woman, but they carried themselves with great importance. "You look like fun. What's your name?"

Toreadorfreddy

"..." One-eye never said a word, but he had an air of annoyance around him. He considered summoning a lesser golem to knock this guy down a peg, but decided it wasn't worth it.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

"Oh come on, loosen up. Here, I'll tell you mine first. You can call me Adrear. L. Adrear if you want to get technical, but I don't give out my first name." Adrear smiled. "Now, what should I call you?"

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye simply glared at Adrear through his mask, getting more annoyed with each minute.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

"Or, I could just call you 'Darling'. What do you think of that?" Adrear asked with a wink.

Toreadorfreddy

The ruby lens that formed the right eye of One-eye's mask flashed with rage as a red glow formed in the three slits that allowed his left eye to see. A series of spikes emerged from the ground and building, all pointed at Adrear.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

"Oh my," Adrear said, taking a step back in mild shock. They didn't seem too phased by the sharp objects pointed at them. "Alright, darling, I see you're not interested. I'll just be on my way then," they said. Their voice remained smooth for the entire conversation, even with the shock. They turned around, stepped over the spikes, and walked back into the alley.
A moment before disappearing around a corner, Adrear stopped. "Oh, and you may want to keep your powers more hidden, Earth," they said without turning around. Then they left.

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye retracted the spikes and moved on, now in a foul mood.

Donotdiddlekids

Max recognized a man at the bar. Or at least, he looked familiar.
The man went into the restroom, and Max followed suit. He started to ask the man questions.
"Hey, you. You know a town called Wintersberg?", Max asked.
The man replied with a booming "Yes. Why?".
Max kept on asking questions, until one final question remained.
"Do you know who destroyed the town? And, by destroyed, I mean killed all the population.", Max kept up.
"Why? You a journalist? Police?", the man said as he started to look a little worried.
"Yeah. Journalist. Freelancer, to be exact." A white lie, from Max.
"Alright, I'm probably gonna die for this... I was part of a PMC. We were assigned to protect the town, but the people attacked us. We defended ourselves. And nobody knows, except for the rest of our force, and you.", the man replied.
"Thank you, sir.", Max sputtered out as he thought how lucky he was. Well, Max, of course. The man was about to die, or worse. Max locked the door to the restroom, and quickly kicked the guy down to the ground, and laid him against the wall.
Max, laying the guy out on the wall, started to reveal himself.
"I'm not actually a reporter. Wintersberg was my hometown. I saw the things you guys did there. My family, friends, and everyone else. Now," Max said as he put his foot on the man's arm, "do you feel like you can walk and talk?", Max asked as he put pressure on the arm, and pulling down on it. The man shrieked in pain as his arm was broken easily.
"Yes, I feel like it!", the man hastily responded with pain in his voice. "Just, please, let me live!"
"Oh now," Max threatened, "I can't do that. It's not in my blood. But I'm sure," Max said while lifting the man up. "I'm sure it's in yours."
Max hit the guy's face straight into a wall. Reeling, the man found himself getting slammed into a nearby urinal, then getting kicked into it multiple times. Eventually, after multiple methods of torture, including a broken wrist, Max lined the guy up on the wall again.
"Now," Max added, "You won't die. Yet. You go to the main operating base, and tell them, one day, that Wintersberg will be avenged. They'll see what I did to you. But it will be a hell of a lot worse when I find them. Also, don't bother with telling me where the base is. I'll find it."
Max unlocked the door, and went out to pay his tab, then left.

Shadowlugia711

Starlet sat in the stocks.

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye observed the situation with the dragon.

TheOneTrueCardinal

After a few secs, Present Sub's view point switched to past Sub's view.
"What in the actual hell??" He looked at the statue.
It's still repeating the same words.

TheAshFoxx

After seeing the townspeople's joyous reactions to the reunion with their wealth. Nick traveled across town back to the inn. He was exhausted. Plus, he had to heal his injuries.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Present Sub broke out from the chains, the world is now shrouded in darkness, there are a few platforms and the statue is still there.

ZeroByNothing

Ryan, depressed, is back in the inn, in his room, sleeping.

TheOneTrueCardinal

He started running away from the statue using the platforms, but the statue immediately followed him.

Mangledmeddlingmetal

Adrear entered the inn, and sat down in the main foyer. They made momentary eye contact with the woman at the front desk, but decided not to approach her. Even from the distance they were at, they could tell the woman was engaged by the large diamond on her finger. Instead the bat decided to wait for another opportunity to talk to someone.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub is running out of platforms, the statue is still following him.

Bed head zed

Falaos was having a strange dream. In the dream, Falaos was surrounded by people, who looked like they had went through hell. Some looked melted and deformed, others looked like they were tortured in horrible ways.
But, despite that, they acted perfectly normal. Falaos was confused throughout the entire dream.
He eventually came across a burned anthro fox.
...
It was his mother.
Falaos woke up.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub is now on a dead end, the statue has cornered him. He made an iron sword to defend himself, suddenly 3 swords flew around the statue.
Sub for tried attacking the statue, but one of the swords blocked his strike and sliced his sword into two.
The statue grabbed one of the sword and he stabbed Sub, but before the blade hit him, everything faded to block and Sub woke up, he was sweating.

Bed head zed

Falaos gets out of bed.

TheRedSkull45

Vulcan flies to Falaos with an old pendant with the crows name on it and a strange incantation.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub tried making metal again, it was successful, his powers are back.

Bed head zed

Falaos sees the pendant.

Forcer96

Rezel - "Well, this went to hell." Rezel decides to head to the inn for lunch.

Richard2005

"I remember seeing the guy with I share the same power with trained here..."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"What's with the messages in that dream?? Does it mean something??" Sub thought.

Donotdiddlekids

Max went back to his house, cleaning himself off from the mess he made earlier.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub went outside the inn. "I'm not sure what will happen to the remaining bandits that are still in this town" Sub thought.

Richard2005

Rasmus look at Max:"Well, he's here now."

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

Adrear watched Sub as he walked through the foyer to get outside. Again, the bat decided not to bother with chasing. "He seems troubled..." they observed, "I'd better not. Don't want things to turn out like last time..."

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub decided to investigate the alleys, just to make sure there aren't any bandits left.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"Buuuut... I have had a couple troubled people like me back... Eh, why not?" Adrear thought, standing up. They exited the inn, and with a quick look around located Sub. They followed him.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub continued looking at alleys.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"Hello there," Adrear called to Sub, leaning on a wall.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub noticed Adrear. "Uhhh, Hi?" Sub waved, confused.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"What're you doing lurking in these alleys?" Adrear asked.

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Making sure the bandits get the message" Sub replied.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"Bandits? What bandits?" Adrear questioned.

TheOneTrueCardinal

"The bandits that were troubling this town" Sub said.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"Oh, do you mean the ones that burned down the forest and that inn?" Adrear asked, stopping leaning on the wall. "Funny how it was Cinder's that they burned," they added.

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Well.... the inn was burned by a guy with a flaming face and the forest was burned by a walking torch" Sub said, he sounded nervous when he talked about the walking torch part.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

Adrear noticed the nervousness, but continued to press on for the information. "Oh, how horrifying. How exactly do you know this? I though I was observant, but I knew none of this."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"I was there when both of the events happened" Sub said

Aki~lucky

Meanwhile, Lexi was still around the town, trying to find someone to get info from.
Preferably any other element host.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"Oh my. You weren't hurt, were you?" Adrear asked, then added, "it'd be a shame if someone as good looking as you were hurt."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"WHAT..... IN THE ACTUAL......... FUCK??" Sub thought, he grabbed the hilt of his sword and backed away three steps.
"You're creeping me out" Sub said.
"He's worse than that fox guy" Sub thought.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"Oh, sorry. Sometimes I can't help myself," Adrear said, putting their hands up to show they meant no harm. "But the question still stands. Were you hurt?"

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Nope, not at all" Sub replied.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"So let me get this straight: You were in a burning inn, and a burning forest, and you didn't even get a little singed?" The bat asked. "What are you? some sort of fire witch?"

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Nope, I just have metallic skin" Sub said.

Paradox.XXIV

Hugh listened to Mira, but turned around the heavy desk. He put his hand on it, and felt a liquid. A gluey, thick liquid. He instinctively took it off, and felt it was slippy. It was cold and dark, but it was impossible to identify what it was, and where it was from for the moment. Hugh tried to dry his hands (he had taken off his gloves to not soil them) with the book. The ground was all slippery too...
"Caution here, someone spilled their drink..." Hugh whispered, trying to sound funny.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"Meta- You... Oh..." Adrear said with knowing. "Well then, Metal, you're the second elemental I've met today. Tell me, is the entire group in this town? That would explain the fires."
Mira giggled just a little bit, but quickly stopped, and stepped away from the wall. She also went to the desk to examine it.

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Metal? Who are you talking about? That's not my name!" Sub said, looking confused, he had one of his eyebrows raised.

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye walked into the inn and saw Adrear talking with a fox that One-eye recognized. "Sub," he thought to himself as he slipped through the inn towards them, "that was his name."

Paradox.XXIV

Hugh snickered again. The smell got stronger again ! It was like waves that where coming right through his nostrils, like... Like... Breathing.
It was exactly at this moment he started hearing it. A slow, really low, almost inaudible hissing. He stopped straight again, no moving a whisker. It could be just wind... Or any other thing...

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

"Oh, but it's your element," Adrear said. "I know about these things. But seriously, are the others here? I'd like to meet them if possible."
"What is it?" Mira asked, not yet hearing the breathing.

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye slipped out from behind a pillar, in Adrear's back.

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Well, actually, yes, there are other people who also have elemental powers, but I'm not sure if all twelve are here."

Paradox.XXIV

Hugh didn't say a word, but instead took one step back. He was trying to reach Mira, but again his hand touched a candle on the desk. It was all slippery too. He took it and, shivering, asked her : "P...Please tell me you can light it up, now... I think something is here with us."

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye glared at Adrear, half-tempted to hit the bat on the head with a rock to see if that sobered him up.

TheSecondEdgeOfTheBlade

Adrear thought for a moment, then left. "I'll see you around~" they called back to Sub before disappearing into the streets.
"I'm not like that fox guy with the fire, Hugh," Mira said. "But I might... Wait..." she dug around in her jacket pocket. "I think I have a matchbook somewhere in here... Ah. There we go." Mira brought a book of matches out of her pocket, removed one match, and struck it. The small flame glowed warm and inviting against the blackness of the room. Carefully, she lit the candle.

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye left as well, but for a different purpose. He began trying to track down two of the others who were missing.

Forcer96

Rezel has his 'lunch', before heading out, back to the park.

Paradox.XXIV

"Oh, Thank y~".
The frail light burned and gave what Hugh needed. His first gaze went towards his hands and the desk...
Hugh nearly fainted as he finally identified with the sticky, thick liquid was. It was dark, almost brown-black, blood. Everywhere on the desk. There was an empty chair, all covered with the death liquid. Hugh stumbled, trying to not fall, and looked around himself. There was a huge puddle of blood around the heavy-looking desk, aside from a spot where a book was standing, open, with weird words written on it.
The blood was thankfully only spilled around the desk, and not everywhere else, though there was a lot of it. Hugh looked further in the backroom, and sighed in relief. It was a crack in a wall, covered with a curtain, that was making this noise. It was like, human, but it was only a curtain...

Bed head zed

Falaos got something to eat, before leaving the inn.

TheRedSkull45

Vulcan keeps tapping on the pendants inscription which reads "formae verae" Vulcan taps the word incessantly. "Read the damn words!" Vulcan thought.

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye continued searching for the missing duo.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub continued searching around the alleys. So far, there were no bandits.

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye felt a surge of power and moved to it's source.

ZeroByNothing

Ryan woke up and left the inn, looking for Sub and Falaos.

Aki~lucky

Someone called Lexi was still trying to find another elemental. "Oh, come on! How hard is it in such a small village!?" She'd occasionally whine.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub started wandering around the town, he ran into Lexi.

Aki~lucky

Lexi turned and looked at Sub, "Oh hey, it's the guy I met at the river." She thought. Then, she helped him up, because nobody likes seeing a person li- Daily Reminder for Lexi: Sub is not a person.

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Oh hi there, Lexi, how long have you been staring into the river?? 1 day? 2 days?"

Aki~lucky

"Kinda, passed out somehow after."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Mostly from the lack of food and the fact that you didn't blink..... Anyways, what are you doing here?"

Aki~lucky

She groaned, then facepalmed. "WHAT do you think I'm here for?"

TheOneTrueCardinal

"To find a psychiatrist?" Sub asked sarcastically.

Aki~lucky

"Ha. Ha. Ha. Veeery funny."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"That's not a joke.... you kind of need a psychiatrist"

Aki~lucky

"I can assure you I don't need a psychiatrist. Anyways, where are the others?" She asked, yawning and rubbing her eyes.

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Most of them are in town, some are outside of town, some are with my golem, Mira and Hugh are hanging out, most people should be at the park, some are eating, blah blah blah, stuff happened..."

Aki~lucky

"Oookay.."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Alright, so what are you gonna do now?"

Aki~lucky

"Have a looooooong nap."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Where?"

Aki~lucky

"Somewhere."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"And where is that 'somewhere' ?"

Aki~lucky

"Not telling."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"So you're either sleeping in the lake, a hole, a tree, the alley, someone's home or the extremely expensive inn."

Aki~lucky

"Well. I'd probably drown in the lake, a hole is too little, I loose my balance quite easily, no, no, and I don't have money."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"The extremely expensive is the only place to stay, there's another inn but it burned to the ground."

Aki~lucky

"Then I guess I'll sleep in the water."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"I thought you said you might drown."

Aki~lucky

"MIGHT."

TheOneTrueCardinal

"Okay then, bye" Sub left to look at more alleys.

LittleMsCurious13

Chira was still at the park, staring at nowhere, listening to her earphones.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub stopped looking at the alleys and went to the park

Donotdiddlekids

Max went out of his house, and started to... kinda know where everything was. Even the places he hadn't been in the town.

TheOneTrueCardinal

He's now at the park. "This place is in the middle of the town, I should be able to detect any bandits by looking for weapons." Sub thought.
Sub closed his eyes and focused.

Bed head zed

Falaos walked down a street.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub is still focusing

Bed head zed

Falaos walks past Sub.

TheOneTrueCardinal

Sub was done focusing and he used metal sense. "... Found a couple sword and dagger signals in the alleys." Sub thought to himself.

Aki~lucky

Lexi was somehow breathing in the lake. She barely knew how to swim and she was asleep by now.

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye located Hugh's trail and followed it to an abandoned building. He noted that he felt a strange energy coming from it and it lacked any form of door.
One-eye placed his hand against the wall and tried to sense if anything was moving inside.

Paradox.XXIV

Not making one more step, Hugh talked to Mira, trying to calm down from the sight of blood. "L... Look. This old book has strange words written on it... I think my father has one~" He suddenly stopped, noticing the mistake he just did. Weird that he could still think that... He opened his mouth again : "My father had one... He tried to teach me, but I was too young to remember well..."
He bended over the desk to read the words, trying to decode the old transcriptions.

Toreadorfreddy

One-eye sensed a small vibration coming from within, telling him that something was moving within, and not a large entity either. He began searching for a weakness in the power concealing the entrance.

Shadowlugia711

Starlet sat outside of the town in the stocks. She had wondered why a golem put her there, and gone after her at all.
