“What was that, Wind?”

This part contains a lot of non-canon, or removed from canon elements. Take everything you read here with a grain of salt.

With a grumble, Mira walked over to the bag and looked inside. "Wait. Who?" she asked, not recognizing the names.

When he arrived at Jitx's location, he spotted him in the air.

"There he is" He thought, then he spotted a little pup that looks like it got hurt from combat.

"..... JITX, BEFORE YOU WERE TRYING TO KILL A HUNTER FOR TAUNTING A BEAR, NOW YOU'RE TRYING TO ASSAULT A PUP?? ARE YOU REALLY UNSTABLE OR ARE YOU JUST CREATING VIOLENCE WITHOUT A PROPER REASON??" Sub shouted furiously at Jitx so he can hear him from up there.

Jitx grins and waves at Sub.

"IT'S NOT A PUP, SUB! IT'S JUST AN IMMATURE WOLF! BESIDES, FALAOS IS HERE!"

He lands by Sub.

"Welcome back," Mira said with a smile. She had cooked the meat and vegetables while she was waiting, and had them laid out on large leaves like plates. "Hungry?"

'Wait, where's Alexis and Christa?'

Max then looked at Mira.

"Nah, I'm fine. Thanks for the offer."

Falaos looks around the camp. "Odd... where did they go?" Falaos stands up.

"Yeah... hopefully, they're fine. Especially Christa."

'Alexis can handle her own pretty well, she'll be fine. But what about Christa?'

"And I guess I never really introduced myself. I'm Max Crowcross. Some of my friends are here, you might have met them. Sub, and Falaos, to be exact. I also kinda like Dark too, if you've met him."

'She looks... familiar to me, somehow. I dunno how, though.'

"Mira... Haven't heard such name. Oh, and by the way" Emerald opened his eyes widely "Do you know one person? Human, not very old, gray hair. Seemed to care about his cat."

"Probably not, but I guess it's a good thing to know," Mira said, shrugging. Something caught in the back of her mind, and she felt compelled to ask something. She kept herself turned to Max. "Hey, since we all seem to be freakshows here, what's your little talent? That is, if you've got one."

"Well if they're at Stoneyard i guess they're safe..." Falaos sits down.

Max got a glow around his hands. "Telekinesis.", He said as he raised his right hand up a bit.

"It's alright, Dark.", Alexis said with a soft voice.

"Alright.", Max said as he started to look around for something to grab. He eventually took off his hoodie, threw it up in the air, and caught it using his telekinesis.

"Alright!", Alexis exclaimed as she nodded.

Arrow turned around, looking for Falaos briefly. He saw him, and scuttled over to him slowly. He ran up to his feet, looking up at him.

"Hi, how are ya? We were just wondering if you know where the doctor's area is. Could you give us some directions?"

Mira stared in awe at the now-levitating hoodie. "That is so cool," she said breathlessly.

"Hey little guy!" Falaos starts to pet Arrow.

Alexis stood in the corner of the inn.

Arrow stood still, looking around for Jitx briefly. He let it go with a growl, laying down at his feet. He quietly howled, slightly sniffing the air.

Sub walked back to camp. He looked at the pup.

"Hey Falaos, is he damaged?? Any bruises, cuts or anything??"

"He seems fine." Falaos keeps petting Arrow.

Max let the hoodie go, and caught it. He then put it back on.

"Well, what's your special thing?", Max asked.

He looked up at Sub and growled, seemingly not trusting anyone else but Falaos. He jumped up on his feet, still looking up at him. He bared his teeth slightly.

"I... You see, I don't know. All I've gotten are these weird dreams, and I've... Randomly disappeared at times," Mira tried to explain. "Whatever my thing is, it sure is mysterious."

Her ring flickered its glow a little.

"Maybe it's invisibility, and you just gotta know how to trigger it.", Max said while shrugging.

"Well invisibility wouldn't make me disapear right of the face of the planet," Mira said.

"Or maybe it has something to do with that ring of yours." Sub said, remembering the fact the ring melted off the metal.

"Huh. That's pretty odd. Yeah, I got nothing." Max stated while looking slightly confused.

The Innkeeper pointed to a map of the town.

"Ah, thank you, sir!"

"Yeah... It probably does," Mira said, looking down at her hand. "What's strange is that it seems to have a duplicate that Hugh wears that effects me. And... I can't take this one off. For the life of me, it won't budge even a little bit. It's like it's literally a part of me. Everything seems to have just... Changed a lot since that first time I disappeared."

"That exactly," Mira confirmed. "Here, you can even try yourself." She stuck her hand out to give Sub the chance to try to remove the ring.

"Well, let's see if it might come off.", Max said as his hands started to glow again.

Alexis looked at the map as well.

"Let's look for a doctor... ah! Found one!", she exclaimed while pointing st the destination.

Falaos glares at Jitx. Oh look the psycho's here. Thought Falaos as he continued to pet Arrow.

"At that point, it's probably tied to the ring... Whether it's a blessing or a curse that it can't be removed, I can't tell you. To me... sounds kinda like a curse.", Max said.

"Yeah, looks like five blocks. Lets go!", Alexis cheerfully exclaimed.

Dark starts walking toward the door out of the Inn.

He chuckles.

"Not that I mind."

"Oh! You're right. I'm sorry, I just... I can't remember hardly anything at all, yet at the same time I'm remembering things I never learned," Mira said, bringing her hands to her face and rubbing her temples as though trying to clear her mind.

"Well, I don't know really why, but I think talking about my problems is really helping.", she said.

Max sat down next to Falaos, and looked at Arrow. "Looks cute.", he said as he watched Arrow.

Arrow instantly turned around to see Jitx. He was still extremely mad at him, and Arrow never learned his lesson every single time, and each time he lost the fight. He slowly put himself into a pouncing position and growled deeply.

A guy was following them, but only because he was headed in the same direction.

He stopped, looked at the both of them for a bit, and kept walking.

"Why should i?" Said Falaos as he stood up.

Christa was stealthy following Alexis and Dark, it doesn't seem like she has a reason for following them.

Jitx sighed again.

"Well, Firefox, let's see. If I continually dodge him, he's going to end up injuring himself. If I fight back, the results are predictable."

"So, do you have any powers like the others?"

"Maybe you should've just left him alone." Falaos picks Arrow up.

Mira sighed. "How about you both cool your tempers..." She picked up some of the meat she cooked earlier, and waved it around so that Arrow could smell and see it. "And let me deal with the pup?"

"Saying what I should have done is not going to help, Falaos. We got a problem, we don't dwell in a reality where it didn't happen. We face it."

Max nodded.

"I agree with Mira.", He said.

"Powers? Not that I know of.", Alexis stated.

Falaos looks at Sub. "Sub... this might sound a bit weird, but do you think you could talk to Arrow?"

"I'd say both Emerald and Sub could," Mira said quietly, not wanting to interrupt, but feeling she had to get her words out there.

"Tell him to stop attacking Jitx."

Arrow didn't move, trying his best to not look at Jitx otherwise he would probably try to hurt him. He then quickly wriggled out of his grasp and jumped up to the piece of meat Mira was holding up.

"I'm glad I'm not the only powerless one, either.", Alexis said while shrugging.

"Wait, never mind." Falaos glares at Jitx before sitting down.

They had arrived at the Doctors

Arrow turned back around, suddenly refusing the food. He walked back over to Falaos slowly, occasionally looking over at Jitx and growling.

"Wait... make up your mind..." Falaos pauses. "Uhh... do wolves even have names?" Falaos pets Arrow.

"Heh, thanks.", Alexis said as she walked right in.

"You already know, Sub. Get out of the fire, and stay low.", Max said.

"I know yours but not everyone else's" Sub looked at the pup.

"Hey Fox," Mira said, "He only seems you like you. Why don't you feed him?" She tossed the meat over to Falaos.

Arrow looked up at Falaos, sitting by his feet. He twitched, more occasionally looking over at Jitx.

He ignored Sub angrily.

~I'm gonna assume you don't trust people after the dragon almost murdered you~ He said in wolf tongue.

Arrow still ignored him, moving behind Falaos and trying to hide behind him. He whimpered quietly, still looking at Jitx.

"It seems that there's two possible cases here. The best case, he's having terrors whenever he's asleep. I'd maybe suggest... staying around for him, giving comfort to him whenever he needs it most. The Worst case is that he's slowly starting to hate everything, in which that case, I don't know what to do."
